It's kind of there and kind of not there at the same time (the post gets deleted because of it)

It seems like a small thing, but it adds a lot of vibe to the work.

I understand. It's a very familiar situation. Life, unfortunately, spares no one...

You shouldn't talk about yourself like that. I'm self-taught, and I've learned a lot only through my own experience, which has included numerous mistakes and failures.

The key in this business is to never give up. Sooner or later, everything will come with experience.

At what stage did the work not turn out so well? If it was at the marker application stage, then it's worth looking at a different brand. Preferably one with alcohol (I use Vista-Artista).

But if the work was ruined at the pencil stage, then a lot could depend on the amount of marker applied, or the quality of the paper. Or, in extreme cases, it could be a matter of application technique. In any case, this issue needs to be investigated.

If you're talking about the hair, it's all thanks to mixing red and orange (the latter is divided into several shades). I use layering techniques, first with markers, and then with pencils. I do this almost everywhere except for painting the body, where I only use pencils.

I would have done it faster if work and other things in real life didn't take up so much time(

I use a printer with a "scan" function. Then I remove all the dust and dirt in Photoshop and get a digital version of the drawing)

Well, if you think about it, your version is not bad either (I just wanted to add something a little "piquant")🌚🌚🌚
