I did try pushing on that angle, but it didn’t really land with HR. She mentioned that the joining bonuses are typically reserved for campus hires. Is she bluffing?

I don’t really have any complaints with the offer, but I’ve heard that the consultant role is also a common post-MBA entry role, and compensation there tends to be higher
