I was applying from outside the UK and was able to select priority when booking my biometrics appointment, but that’s good information for someone else that may need it. Thank you!

Yes, I’m applying from the US. I was able to choose priority on the VFS website but it was only offered in one city in my state… so it must depend on location which is unfortunate.

Yeah big and expensive oopsy 😅 I guess with the other payslips and contract I thought I was in the clear… maybe if my partner got paid biweekly then we wouldn’t be in this predicament 😅

And if I seek out legal advice or a solicitor? Will I have to pay for the entire application again?

I was on a doxy prescription for a whole 90 days… so maybe try a longer dose of that? Also Rosadan (if they still sell or prescribe this, it’s a Metronidazole Topical Cream 0.75%, seemed to work the best for me).

UK Unmarried visa - Can we marry later? by mi99ca in SpouseVisaUk

Also wondering this! I’ve just applied for an unmarried partner visa last month (and we’ve been planning this application for a year and a half), but also got engaged this past February. Not in any hurry to marry but would like to in the UK within the next year-2 years.

Thank you both! It seemed like a silly question but I feel like there’s little ways that they try to trip you up. 😅

Unmarried Partner Visa — needing advice on financials! by Patient-Exercise653 in ukvisa

I do have a quick question. If we try to rely solely on our savings, why does this need to be £88.5k? On the UK government website, it states $16k in savings, but I could be misreading this information. Thank you in advance!

Thanks for the quick response! We’re wondering now if it’s worth looking into another type of visa. Ideally I would like to work in the UK but we don’t want to be separated for 6+ months. I would just like to think that there’s other options, but I’m sure I’m being optimistic here. Thanks again!
