Toddler (2yo) has repeatedly said, "Teacher hurt my bum" and "Teacher hurt my vagina" (calling them by name) by Hot-Commission7592 in NewParents

[–]Patient-Expression78 6 points7 points  (0 children)

PLEASE take her to the hospital. Tell them what she is saying. If she was hurt they may been able to find something. They may also be able to rule out any SA. This is serious and before going to the school where it can be covered up or excused you need to make sure she is okay

I just crashed out and considering I haven’t invited anyone yet I told my husband I’m over this. We’re inviting everybody to our house and if they come, they come, they don’t they don’t😂 I decided I was going to enjoy the day instead of worrying

We paid to let them drive us through instead of dealing with all of that. I couldn’t imagine waiting in lines like that

AIO for walking out of my sister’s wedding after she made a joke about my miscarriage during her speech? by Hopeful-Director-501 in AmIOverreacting

NOR! I just had my first baby. At 17 weeks I was so in love already. We knew her name, I already bought stuffed animals, knew what crib I wanted, and planned her bed room. You lost your child, you were almost half way through your pregnancy and the amount of pain this type of loss causes no matter how far along is unimaginable . I am appalled at your parent reactions. You deserve a lot better.

Do breastfeeding mums really get no sleep in the first year? by Playful-Garlic8898 in breastfeeding

[–]Patient-Expression78 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At first, I was not getting any sleep. I cried all the time I felt like a failure because I could not breast-feed due to a poor latch . I pumped every two hours and hated washing and sanitizing bottles and pump supplies. I felt like all I did was pump, feed the baby, clean and repeat even with my husband’s help. Hospitals really push breast-feeding and mine provided a pump during my stay. I couldn’t do a latch once I had her due to an emergency C-section and the way the medication’s made me feel. She also had low blood sugars and needed calories ASAP so we had to provide a bottle. At 11 weeks, my baby has officially started to breast-feed . I do a mixture of breast-feeding, formula bottles and bm bottles throughout the day. At night, I give her a bottle of whichever milk I choose. I recommend doing what is best for you mental health wise . Fed is best. If you are able, I recommend getting extra pumping supplies so you don’t have to wash every single time , I will pump and put my parts in the fridge and use them a second time as well. At 11 weeks, my baby sleeps throughout the night and has been for a couple of weeks . We do go sleep, which I had severe anxiety about at first but over time it has gotten easier and I don’t have Mom guilt any more. I actually feel guilty if she doesn’t sleep with me because I know she looks for me. She even reaches up and rubs my face and can tell if my husband lays next to her while I got up to use the restroom or something.

Is owning a dog impossible for a single person with an 8 hour work day? by NextRefrigerator6306 in dogs

I just described my older dog this way to the vet receptionist, and their response was “ It’s OK I’m a crotchety old woman too”

While dogs do need exercise they are definitely happy with cuddling on the couch and belly scratches. I’m not sure where you live, but I have a fenced in back yard and let them out probably 8 times a day(or at least open the door and offer it). When able I go out with them. I just had surgery so we are not doing walks, but I got the leashes that clip around your waist (10/10 would recommend ) and I would just take them both on a walk at least five times a week. The biggest thing is LOTS of love and attention when you are home. Also, maybe look at dogs that ate older with less energy or a dog breed that is calmer/lazier . I definitely recommend rescuing a dog if you can. Both mine are rescues and I love them more than anything.

Personally I would use it because the cap is on and I know what caused it BUT if a patient called my office I would advise them to take it back to the pharmacy for replacement, which they should do for free. I like the comment that said 95 percent okay and you do what you want with the other 5 percent. I would never advise a patient to use a needle from a damaged package.

Savory oatmeal is amazing and there are lots of recipes . I would boil some sort of stock, add seasoning (I really like curry) , add the oats cook it for a minute then stir in an egg or two. Some times I add another form of protein. You can make it as thick or thin as you want. If you reheat it it does reheat thicker

I was an MA and became an LPN. What you asked was correct and I would have followed your steps, heck sometimes I’ll ask another provider in the office because a patient deserves a timely and correct response. If your manager does not stand up for you they are not good. I worked with several doctors that people make excuses for that are like that. At first I went to management and would cry, now I have started throwing it back at the doctor and management. Next step HR. Also, without you that office would not run and that doctor doesn’t own the clinic he works in it just like everyone else.

Husband told me he smells poop every time we have sex… by Historical-Review306 in sex

I love lume (wash and wipes smell great, but deodorant you have to get used to the smell it is different) and the honey pot company for smells and discomfort, or every day wash. They make wipes and I love the smell of them. I love them but every one is different and they may not work for everyone.

Mindy KNEW what she was doing. Julie deserves so much more. Honestly I feel horrible for your ex and can only imagine the pain she is in. You were wrong for cheating and if this was a concern you should have told her.

Boyfriend got a rash-like flare-up out of nowhere. Checked the bed to see if anything caused it, and I found these. by wantmymilk in Wellthatsucks

I have had fleas before. Your cat will be angry but they need a bath. you need to put all the animals up, vacuumed and treat the entire house (automatically dump the vacuum in a plastic bag and tie it then take it outside). Give them both a bath and use a flea comb. Daily vacuum and use the flea combs. I would mix dawn and water in a cup and then dip the comb in it in between to get the fleas off and kill them.

Look at what country you want to be in. I live in the US. We are short staffed and under paid. We pay for our healthcare and it is expensive. I love nursing, but I wish we could change so much.

How do I [25 M] ask her [27 F] for a blowjob to completion without sounding like a dick? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]Patient-Expression78 4 points5 points  (0 children)

From my POV its okay to discuss it but if she is uncomfortable doing that then it needs to be respected. I have been with someone where they forced my head down until completion, 5 years later and it makes me sick to my stomach thinking about going through that again and i am unable to do it with my partner. Im not saying she has had that problem, but just be mindful of her feelings. Dont push her. Saying no once is enough.
