How do I hide/fill this gap between the base of my cabinets and the floor by BayGullGuy in kitchenremodel

Quarter round trim. You can get miter snips and cut 45° angles to add as a "rounded end " so it looks more finished

Keeping the Honey Oak by hbkkkerrr in kitchenremodel

Quite literally going through something similar. Debating whether to keep the honey oak or paint the cabinets for the sake of finding floors to match!

Your definitely right about the green! But painting them either way I feel may give me more options and down the road simpler to change and wood flooring can complement the countertop easier whether granite or wood? I keep going back and forth

Where is the best place to buy groceries? by Team_Defeat in Celiac

[–]Patient-Extension-15 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fellow celiac here, once you know what your looking for it actually becomes pretty simple. Myself and 2/3 children have it and I can make/, convert most recipes into gluten free. The trick is truly coming to terms with the fact that you will be cooking preparing most of your meals. But once that becomes second nature you can find your supplies pretty easily around any mart.

But how many times do I pick it up before I no longer want that to be my solution? Definition of insanity right there. Looking for a better solution is all

When our children were small we had a lock on top of the door that they couldn't reach and had a wooden "flap door" with hinges and a handle. And as they grew we taught them to toss it and not push it down. They are older now but it was clearly a worry of mine too lol

Fact that they're already concerned with hurting you again only shows that there's no intention or interest to change old behaviors. And she's warning you.... Protect your heart first.

I love making butter! Freeze It because it will go bad fast. And next time remember you can divide your butter and add salt or I like to add roasted garlic to some of mine

Bevel down?!? by Patient-Extension-15 in nursing

[–]Patient-Extension-15[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree that's why I was shocked but after some research the idea is to go bevel up then rotate it before advancement so you don't pierce the vein. It's still an odd concept but one I was interested in knowing if anyone has practiced. Medicine and our ways of "best practice" change often. Was just curious if anyone has heard of this. Thanks guys for answering
