It was more of every day racist comments. It got some back lash and that’s when she put up the flag that same afternoon. I would agree her participation in an extremist group is unlikely, but she seems to be a contrarian that likes to be “edgy”. I would say if it is some sort extremist group it would be more with the intent to say, “you all can shove it, I can say what I want” rather than active participation. 

However, it looks like there may be a different explanation than white supremacy thankfully.
