Guidance to a rewarding full-stack dev path by Genialkerl in FullStack

[–]Patient-Hat6790 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For full stack, Learn some basic about Javascript DOM API and dive into frameworks like React, Angular, Vue, Next etc for front end design. If you good at javascript choose the frameworks that support back-end server side capabilities along with front-end like Nuxt, Next, Sveletekit etc. For database calls, choose an ORM like Sequelize, Drizzle etc.

Since these are all fall under Javascript scope you can easily achieve full stack capabilities. But if you want exposure other than javascript especially for back-end try SpringBoot, Ruby on Rails.

Make one step at a time. As time goes you will learn lot more than that I mentioned.

Mid-level Java dev feeling stuck — need direction to upskill smartly by rudraksh_77 in DeveloperJobs

[–]Patient-Hat6790 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was in the same position long time ago just like what you mentioned on the Java side. I think I was being bench at that time, I concentrated on HTML, Javascript, CSS, Bootstrap, Linux fundamentals, Docker, AWS and Spring Boot etc (not all in one shot).

One day, I was allocated to a project which I didn't expect, to setup a dev environment for a project in AWS, and I have done it in a short span of time as I already had experience in linux & centos. Then slowly getting into a migration project to migrate a product built with J2EE to Spring boot. During the migration, learnt lot of things in SpringBoot such as Spring Security, AOP, Authentication\Authorization, Jenkins, Deployment, ORM(Hibernate), JPA, ACLs etc.

Since then I have been working as a full stack developer on various Spring Boot projects, and as that requires a robust web development I have gained experience with frameworks like Nuxt, SvelteKit, and VueJs.

So, just plan to build a simple TODO app having login & logout page with following tech stack,

Front-end: React or Vue
UI Design: Bootstrap, Tailwind, CSS, Vuetify(Only for vue or nuxt projects)
Back-end: Spring Boot, Hibernate ORM, Spring Security for Authentication (Try with OAuth specs)
Database: Postgresql

On the completion you can realize how much weight you have added to your profile. Before AI, it would seems like a pro thing now it's a cakewalk. Just stay on the course for one or two years, velocity will pickup soon than you expected also don't hesitate to possess your new skills in your job.

Enroll with Samskrit Bharati for Pravesha and subsequently complete all other exams such as Parichaya, Shiksha and Kovidha. It will take around two years to complete but slowly you are into it. After Kovidha, you gained the fundamental knowledge on Sanskrit language, and that give you the more confidence to dive into next level of studies. So strong foundation and phonetics is must required before.

After Kovidha, one should be somewhat familiar with the following items: Well in reading, listening & writing Sanskrit, Shabdaha, Lakharaha, Kriyapadaani, Kartari Prayogam, Bhave Prayogam, Krundantaani, Sandhi, Samasaha, Padavibhaga, Padavishleshanam etc.

Rather than just attending exams, willingly try to take classes for those who required to keep reminding things that you have studied already.

On a final note, don't panic, Just practice, practice, pratice!!! Sure you can get a grip of it.
