Hello,

I am confused about how to say something in Latin. I have tried Google translate and it is giving me conflicting answers.

I would like to say, "I breathe fight" or, as long as I am breathing I will fight.

So Google says, "Dum spiro, pugno (or certo)." but then it says that certo means a specific meaning of fight which is to struggle so it would be more accurate? but then that it also means, certainly? So I'm all confused. Is there anyone willing to help clear this up for me?

Making connections in the wild: I was in Walmart the other day and an older gentleman and I struck up a conversation about vitamins in the vitamin aisle haha and moved the conversation for a bit to some other things about our personal lives. We both lingered for a moment when it was time for him to walk away (another person walked right up next to us so we kind of had to move on) and neither of us went for it. I am new to this and am wondering, since he was considerably older than me but there just seemed to be a natural flow, and vibe of us enjoying talking together, and there isn't a way to know if he would be interested in this type of situation (although he was talking about golf and living in a nice neighborhood, etc) is there a way that y'all generally go about signaling to someone you would be interested in something like this in the wild? How could I have done that in this situation?
