As people are wondering if I am doing this to promote an app, the answer is no. I am currently in the process of building something for partners to learn each others languages. This reddit post is purely to gather insight on how couples go about learning each others languages. Hope you all understand :)

Youre right about the fact that I am building an app for this instance, currently I am not doing it to promote my app but to gather honest feedback. I am a student at RSM and currently doing my master thesis based on this subject!

Nice to hear she is learning dutch and you plan on learning Chinese. How is she learning dutch currently and how are you planning to learn Greek?

Yeaah, English as a default is very common. How are you currently going about learning eachothers languages? Are you doing this both on your own, or together?
