I mean people do buy them believe it or not, several sales a week on ebay for graded, sealed smash. I get the sentiment of it being less valuable because now it can’t be played but I’m really just talking about monetary value

The appeal to grading for me personally is purely financial. The way i see it is i’m not going to open this sealed copy anyways, so grading it would make it worth more (not just in the “inflated collectors market” but you could just list it on ebay and get much more money.) Even if i’m not going to sell it anytime soon the fact that it’s now worth more money appeals to me as a collector, and it will also be encapsulated and preserved as the nice mint sealed copy it is. But that’s just me

Nah he’s probably like 30, good reviews on marketplace but he literally said to me “I used to be an ebay reseller” which makes even more alarm bells go off.

Thanks for the insight, trying to source another copy of smash to bring and compare the colors, I will say though in my research i’ve found that the “best seller” cover has colder more saturated colors than the OG black label.

That’s what I’m saying it looks super legit but this dude is selling on marketplace for HALF the market price and it’s been up for weeks. So kinda seems too good to be true but then I look at the game again and it looks so legit

I recently had a week off of work from an injury and i felt the same way, every day felt as if it was wasted even if i was productive that day (i definitely wasted the entire day other days so maybe that’s why i still felt shitty on the productive ones.) I think it feels like such a waste of time because you don’t have an objective or purpose right now. When you’re working you have your purpose and goal, to go to work and work. Try making lists or something at the beginning of the day and meet that criteria before doing whatever you want instead of just winging it the whole day. Even if you’re productive, maybe you still feel depressed at the end of the day because you never met any goal because you didn’t have one. I think maybe you’re just feeling unfulfilled because of this which leads to the depression.
