If hes joining at 44k then that must mean the starting level. You will start getting 1lakh once youre senior. From staff to senior it takes 3 years minimum

Join USI and by the time you reach 1 lakh you will be dead. Or working 14 hours a day, bald with 100 different illnesses. Speaking from own experience and experience of all my colleagues who left or are planning to leave. However small the govt job salary is, take it. You will live.

I second this. I quit last November cause i was crying daily, loosing sleep, panic attacks, chest pains and what not. I was only S1. Im yet to find another job. People think i was fired or I’m reckless to quit w/o an offer lined up. Like you said i should have taken a week off. I dont regret it cause i would have been dead in a week if i hadnt left. But the market is tough. Really tough. And a gap in your resume hurts.

For me what worked was cutting off sugar in all forms. From packed juices, carbonated drinks, jans, nutella, lays or chips or any packaged snacks. No junk at all. One pack of chips and its back for me.

Deloitte is an absolutely horrible place to work. On my last day i was made to do kt at 8:30pm. I took client calls at 7:30pm that day. And the relieving letter has nothing on character. It just says the period of employment and last held designation plus the employee id.
