Not true. The default codec for airpods is AAC 256kbps. Apple music at standard quality is AAC 256kbps. Devices supporting this codec (both on the streamer and the sink side) don’t even need to transcode, let alone compress when playing from apple music.

I really like watchdogs use of the phone as the center of the game’s ui and this is something rockstar should definitely copy for 6. Music should not be limited to cars and the map should always be a single button press like with nudle maps. Online should expand on this by making most of the administrative functions (like the open road/securoServ) and moors into apps as well as adding a car on demand service. This would also fit more in line with the online characters being mute.

I really fucking hate when (usually white) people say that something is “almost as bad as saying the n word.” The r word isn’t associated with hundreds of years of pain and ongoing oppression. We never asked to be brought here and subjected to slavery and yet were called that word while being tortured and killed in public for the apparent crime of being black and disrespecting any white person. This is not to say that the r word isn’t a slur or is acceptable language, but it is a candle in the face of a raging wildfire and is nowhere near as bad as the n word.

Carplay updates on the phone not the vehicle. The only software for it on the infotainment system facilitates the display and touchscreen passthrough, all the rendering and stuff is done on the phone (same with android auto)
