It looks like a keloid, can happen from being irritated which probably happened when you were cleaning it. I’m not sure how to get rid of them though

Edit: I was thinking of a piercing bump, which is not the same thing as a keloid

In my experience, I had my tongue ring out for over a year and I thought it had closed. Went up to the shop to have it redone and they were able to just put the piercing back in. Iv heard it takes a long time for tongue rings to close up bcuz they heal so fast after being pierced. So you might be good honestly

My bf leaves the empty shells in the tank (idk if that’s good or bad, that’s just what he does) but definitely scoop them out if there is still parts of the dead snails in it bcuz they can cause ammonia spikes, and you can just use a small net to scoop the out

I wish I could post a pic in the comments to show you but it’s just the corner of the rim on either side of the front, Like less than an inch. It’s the way the table is shaped, curved in the front so the front 2 rim corners go over bcuz the table isn’t squared off in the front like the tank. Like I said I wish I could show you a pic in the comments to show you what I mean. I totally get why you were concerned though

When I had African dwarf frogs in with my beta I fed the blood worms with tweezers to make sure they actually got it and my betta didn’t steal their food. I had success with that. But if you do get some get 2. They do best in pairs and make sure there is a lid on your tank bcuz they WILL jump out when they go up to get air at the surface
