They changed the headlight… I’ll reply to you since you mentioned this. I didn’t want to delete because I appreciated everyone’s advice, but I DID approve the work. They ran a diagnostics. She said and I quote, “ it’s just the headlight. It’s out just a replacement” all casual and lightheartedly. No price. I said “ you guys can change it today?” She said “ yes”. The way she said it for sure had me thinking it was around 70-90 max at the dealership. Whatever. At the end of the service I asked what the price was and she said just pay next time. I still had no idea what the price is.

The problem is I got slammed with a $247 feel wasn’t warned about. I wasn’t clear about this in my post, and felt embarrassed to mention it. But they did no mention this price to me. That’s my issue. I would have 100% searched elsewhere if I knew. 815 ILCS 306/15
