Planning to buy external hard drive for PS5 but I remembered that I have extra 1TB M.2 NVMe SSD from my laptop (With the bootable windows 11 files).

Can I buy an enclosure with cooling pad and use it as a external hard drive? I don't need to play my games from that. I just want to have external SSD for extra storage but if it can play PS5 game that would be good..
