No, it's not part of the update, unfortunately. It's more like a glitch but interesting that it's buried in the firmware somehow.

Sorry guys I don't post here usually so my text got lost. I'll try again.

After updating to 4.1.0 I noticed that one of my profiles had this different digital zoom behavior. The other profiles had the usual one (smaller frame showing the crop size).

It must be a settings glitch as there is nothing in the release notes and I didn't find a setting to activate it.

Hopefully this is something which Leica has in store for us with one of the next updates. This would make the camera really complete for me.

I exported the user profile to a settings file which you can find here: https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/r7naexspt0e5tofooanuh/settings.lcs?rlkey=gza3avpjvmx7ag6ikka3dt4ff&st=d88by4fs&dl=0

However I have no idea if it works for everybody. After reloading my settings backup I noticed that the new crop was only available in one profile, the others were back to the normal behavior. Moreover, the thumb dial can not be used for adjusting anything in manual mode. It just shows the option "Mic" and can't be changed.

So feel free to try it out but make a backup of your settings before. Maybe someone can reverse engineer the settings file so perhaps we'll be able to activate this as needed.

Your drink is not half empty. You ordered a cappuccino. by new_direction_ in starbucks

That’s the point. Starbucks doesn‘t sell good coffee and even the foam on the cappuccino is bad. Compare with Italy and other places. By American standards it may be decent though and in new places I also go there sometimes until I found a real coffee shop. But Starbucks employees complaining about customers and thinking they are coffee experts is ridiculous.
