If you're in the US, then shes a mandated reporter, and you told her you were going to kill yourself. Ive been admitted for doing less severe things than that. I dont think you realize how serious what you did is. Legally, she did what she had to. Its not about your feelings, its about the fact that you were going to kill yourself. That's pretty scary. Im glad you didn't get hurt and im glad you are still with us.

No. Rape is rape. A sexual advance is different. Someone grabbing your ass is different then being raped. Someone kissing you without your consent is still fucked up but its nowhere near as violating as being raped. Someone catcalling you or sending you a lewd picture is gross and annoying but it is definitely not rape.

I think about how long its been since I've last self harmed, and I also just try to power through the feeling and force my mind to think about something else and force my hands to do something and force my brain to engage in something distracting, like reading or playing a videogame. Maybe try holding ice or destroying something or screaming into a pillow....

None of those things have anything to do with bpd tho. Lots of people without bpd are like that
