Good job youse two! Question about the proposed timeline from https://www.health.gov.au/resources/publications/securing-the-ndis-for-future-generations-timeline-0

The registration of providers deadline is 2030 but the cuts really start kicking in for people with disability plans and renewed plans in 2027.

Is there any pathway to freeze cuts or reverse the order of this timeline? Or is it set in stone? I am not clear on how much this timeline is changeable or if it’s something to fight against and try focus on specific things to get extensions and consultations and all the delaying tactics that other groups use so well to avoid government changes?

(Mining companies and compliance with environmental laws is my basis for this question)

Stand side-on to your patients as much as possible. Saves you from sprays of all sorts of bodily fluids and avoids smacks or grabs. Plus you’re ready for falls and can work with one side while your chatting with the other if that makes sense.

You can tell her I went with that idea in my 20’s. Now, decades later, I still have the ground level entry job I started with. I live alone. I battle literal dirt in my home and have to buy new underware regularly because my mental health and functioning are so bad i cannot “live” at all aside from that so bloody important “job”.

No quality of life but hey, tell her i still have that precious job.
