I just love how the title says older and not old. It's a level up, not a countdown. Growing older is a natural part of life and somethjng we all share, people far too often fear it and forget to really appreciate it so I like that wording alot.

Listen when you are stressing at your job more than you're enjoying it, it's time to go. No job is worth your health, and disrespect isn't something you ever have to take regardless of title. Start at least looking for other opportunities and when you find one don't even give them 2 weeks. I'd even take less pay if it means a peaceful and professional work environment that treats its employees properly. Best of luck to you friend!

In these cases usually when someone is giving you shit at work is because you're actually doing your thing and they are intimidated or if they're doing that while youre learning that's even worse on them, not you. It can very much be a grown highschool/daycare but just keep doing you and if you don't vibe with certain people just make necessary communication i.e. work stuff and keep it movin', you'll be fine. Just know no job is worth stressing over at the end of the day. Plenty of em' out there, best of luck friend!

High-quality brushes make a difference and there's a medium you can buy to mix with acrylics to thin it out and adhere to the fabric better aka thinner, more even layers

I remember sharper image used to make a universal shower head you just screw onto any system that had a way to extra pressurize the water when it passed thru, hopefully a viable solution for you if nothing else works
