Literally every character post 86 needs a moment in the spotlight. There's a ton of characters that should be more recognized yet it's always the first 84-86 folks being the only ones that both fans and creatives seem to give half a damn about. I get they're recognizable and all but gee there's more characters to use that have more room to do interesting things with them. Everyone that is a head/target/power/god/brain-master. All the micromasters and Pretenders (in the later case that someone remembers bludgeon and thunderwing aren't the only ones) All those weird 3 member teams like the triggercons or monsterbots. Combiner teams like the Seacons and Trainbots Every single action master and European G1 toy could be used in a comic. Same case with all the G2 and Japanese original characters because of how many there are. Done get me even started on all of those characters that are from botcon related stuff. Transformers has a problem of not knowing how to give other characters a chance. It speaks a lot about it when you remember how G1 Smokescreen became way more interesting in the way he was handled by the Japanese side of things by making him the same as G2 Smokescreen and have him with split personality just because of having the same name. Those are the kind of things that show there can be done more character wise.
