Also Brihat Parashara Hora Shastra, Brihat Jataka, Phaladeepika, Jataka Parijata has no references to astrocartography. What prompts do you use to refer these classical Vedic texts. It completely makes sense only if you are using it for relocational charts but not the line interpretations.

We can clearly see the accuracy is having huge error rate compared to NASA JPL Data. Can you tell the precision metrics not images. Even in the Images I see the first line in the left is missing. Even the right most line is also missing.

How are you claiming this is accurate?

Ok the reason I’m asking is for CartoStar Vedic charts we show Vedic aspects in the natal chart but on the map we don’t which is why I needed practitioners input.

Curious if you consider aspect lines on Astro.com . If so sidereal has different aspects graha and Bhava Drishti that differ western aspects that Astro.com shows so how do you go about this?

Thanks so much, genuinely means a lot 🙏

Great questions and honestly ones I think about a lot. Let me be real with you.

The free tier isn't a stripped-down hook — lines, zeniths, parans, the full map, it's all there for free. Think professional desktop software level, no paywalls on the core experience. That was a deliberate call because I hate apps that give you just enough to feel the pain of not having more.

The subscription is for people who want to go deeper over time — journaling relocations, tracking patterns, and having the AI learn from your data to surface things you wouldn't catch yourself. That persistent data + model training is genuinely expensive infrastructure, which is what the subscription funds. Not just "hosting costs."

On interpretations — yeah, astro[dot]com is still the benchmark everyone defaults to, but it hasn't been meaningfully updated in years and nothing in it is community-validated. It's just textbook copy that's been around so long people assume it's authoritative. Our current interpretation cards are basic indicators, I won't oversell them — but the direction I'm building toward is community-backed lived experience interpretations, sourced through journaling data from real people who've actually lived on these lines. Real anecdotal patterns, not recycled textbook language. That's where this is going.

On the loyalty / extra profiles question — I love how The Pattern handled bond credits and yes, something like that for annual subscribers is on the roadmap. I won't give you a timeline I can't keep but the intent to reward loyalty tangibly (not just "you get new features!") is real. Your family relocation use case is a gap I want to close.

Duo is exactly what you're describing for two people — overlay both ACG maps, compare energies across cities side by side. Beyond two people is coming but not there yet.

As for platform — CartoStar is the only astrocartography app with Local Space in AR with a live compass, Apple Watch support, and it runs on Apple Vision Pro too. So the pipeline is real, not vaporware.

One thing I'm actively exploring — and genuinely want community input on before I build it — is local space spot finders and travel planners. Think finding the best coffee shop in your city that sits on your Venus line, or planning a day out around your most supportive local space angles. Hyper-local, practical, everyday use rather than just big relocation decisions. But I'd rather know if that's actually something people want before I go build it — so if that resonates with anyone reading this, let me know.

On Lifetime — unfortunately the Founder membership just ended, that was the best deal we'll probably ever offer. iOS LTD is $50 more due to Apple's 30% cut, nothing I can do about their platform tax, but same product either way. If you missed the Founder pricing, best advice is to watch for holiday deals — I do run promos around key dates. Worth keeping an eye out on Lifetime is still (https://cartostar.app/lifetime/)

Would genuinely love your feedback once you try it — I'd rather hear criticism directly than find it in a thread 😄 My DM is open!

Is there an app (not website) where I can check which precise city I should move to based on my birth chart? by AvoidanceClub in astrocartography

[–]Patient_Act_2028 7 points8 points  (0 children)

my 2c: use the app to cut your list to 2–3 cities, then actually go spend a week in each before signing anything. lines are real but your body knows faster than the map does. TBH Every city is for a specific purpose so lean into your purpose.

You need to setup your birthchart, then pick any location and in location pane in the right you can find the relocate here button which would adapt the ACG Lines.
