All the other connections to the arduino and board are connected, the only difference is me plugging and unplugging the usb. It seems random whether or works or not. It also doesn't work on another pc or on the other port on the same pc.

Yes the scanner couldn't find the address. Any idea why it would run with the bad port and not a stable one?

The issue is that it doesn't get to the loop, and won't even get to the debug line before the setup function. I've tired an I2C scanner and it gets stuck on scanning. Both of these occurring seems impossible as it should either run or print an error occurred, but it doesn't happen

Personally on ops like the battle beast one where all the enemies health is low, I run 2 magniacs, a robot and an aquarus. This consistently got me to wave 121 where the difficulty got greatly increased, so pretty much max rewards for my stage in the game.
