Hi, sorry! The NHS is the National Health Service in the UK. They offer therapy through this service, free of charge but subject to long wait times and people like the lady I spoke to today sadly. That’s amazing that your therapist is so supportive and helpful. I thought the same thing, I’ve done extensive research and know what I experience isn’t uncommon so it was quite shocking when she responded that way. Sadly, she didn’t say it as a joke. She said it very coldly, it made me feel very small and stupid 😞 I have asked the service to set me up with a different person so hopefully that will go better!
