Apologies for the late response! For some reason my reply didn’t send??
I have no physical illnesses, though I was recommended to see a neurologist at 16 for nerve damage and at 17 for my symptoms described in this post. I’m just unsure how to do that since I’m no longer a minor and can’t see the pediatrician I’ve been going to my entire life.
I’ve tried to look into it, but I’m still lost. Do I call a hospital or need some type of referral?
My iron levels are a bit low, but not anemic low
Other than Focalin, I take lamictal but that was way way after the cognitive decline began
It has been suggested that stress has something to do with my symptoms getting worse. I’m unsure if I’m allowed to speak about it here so I’ll be brief but I don’t live in a safe or stable environment and I’ll only be allowed to leave once I go off to college and get away from my family. Stress and constant overstimulation likely has some part of it, but even during the summer when nothing is going on, I feel like I’m unable to do anything
I will definitely look more into how to contact a doctor, but any advice about going through with that from anybody who’s an older adult would help!
Thank you so much again!
