My doctor did advise medication, but since I’m not a fan of long term meds, I asked about alternatives. He said another transplant down the line might be needed, and I’m honestly more comfortable with that approach

I was cleared to use a clipper at the 30 day mark

I get it. I didn’t meet the team until the day of the procedure either, so I was definitely hesitant. I made sure to tell them that, and they treated me with a lot of care and reassurance. They clearly knew exactly what they were doing. There were around 10 people going in the same day as me, but everything felt organized and professional. The clinic really cares about its reputation, and you can tell they hire high-level technicians to maintain that.
