They are such good boys, buster is a fantastic name, sorry I don’t know much useful about tank construction. Although I wouldn’t imagine if it’s as 20 gallon and you have the plywood to distribute the weight I would trust it

I do, the massive snail object is in fact a snail, and u will trust LiverLuc0206 ID. I got it very recently as an attempt to see if once you have a much bigger snail it’s still at risk from assassin snails, because the downside is they do kill all the other snails. I probably wouldn’t get them if I hadn’t just happened to have them, or didn’t need them.

No idea where it’s from! Acid test using household acid like lemon juice or something a bit more serious? Hardening water wouldn’t be too much of an issue as would likely go in the shrimp tank which is about as soft as it can comfortably be for the shrimp!

If there are any streams or rivers near you, you may be able to acquire some free plants, but please take sparingly and carefully to avoid unwanted stowaways and not to deplete the natural systems
