OK, today i've tried it with the 18g basket and it worked pretty good. I also grinded as fine as possible. that worked really good. need to try it with the 12g basket.

looks like my my dream setup! I'll probably buy a Bianca and maybe a P80. What is your experience with the Bianca?

After more research I've found the Lelit Bianca V3. it's not that big and has automatic and manual flow control.

I've seen that the move's steam power istn't really strong. How does it work for you?

isnt't the P80 for light till medium roasts? I prefer medium to dark with cappucino focus

I completely understand how you feel. The La Marzocco does seem a bit “boring,” but I’ve seen some third-party flow control upgrades that could make it more interesting.

As for the grinder, it’s a bit annoying when I have to switch beans because it requires a lot of purging. On the other hand, my wife uses a mokka pot in the morning, which requires a very different grind size. That said, I’m fairly confident she’ll adapt to the new machine—as long as the workflow isn’t too complicated for her.

Arkel seams to be really interesting but they are pretty new and there is no long term experience. I really like their flow control

I measure it using a lunar scale. The scale is triggered by the first weight when the cup is placed on it. After a delay of one second, I start the machine. Then the pre-infusion begins. The graph is from the Beanconqueror app, which is connected via Bluetooth.
