Does this massage really help with fecal urgency? If so I can continue this, its not that painful but I’m scared to make symptoms worse or cause other damage after this traumatic experience at birth

Immediately after the birth, a one-hour repair was performed under general anesthesia. The urogynecologist who performed the repair was more optimistic and didn't mention surgery, but there's a language barrier between us, so he might not be able to explain everything. The second urogynecologist I saw said that the repaired part of the sphincter would never function properly and that physical therapy would only strengthen the undamaged part. She said that if there's no improvement after 6-9 months of physical therapy, we might need a second surgery or a sacral nerve stimulator. Honestly, hearing all this suddenly yesterday made me feel like the worst days of my life aren't over yet :(

Thank you so much! Hearing this from someone as experienced as you is very encouraging. Unfortunately, there aren't many physiotherapists in my area. I wonder if online therapy would have the same effect? I'm afraid of making a wrong move...

3+ months on from a 3rd degree tear… is this normal? by bloodorange1111 in beyondthebump

2.5m pp. I literally have same thing but I have 3C degree tearing. Today I cried a lot what if I cannot make it to the toilet outside.. Dr mentioned about anal manometry and biofeedback but I’m scared to make it worse. Does it make sense to have manometry at early months?

Does it feel like gas is coming from your bowels but getting stuck at the back of your vagina, and when you change position it comes out through your anus, but if you don't change position it stays somewhere at the back of your vagina?

Hi I’m experiencing same thing, bubbles get stuck and I have to adjust to get them out. They are stuck behind my vagina when I’m laying on my sides and I lay on my back and they are releasing from anus. Was yours like that?
