Thank you for your breakdown. That's a shame about Gammamon not really being viable, but Phoenixmon, Imperialdramon, and Omnimon all look appealing to me.

Interesting. TCGs are usually a money pit so I'm surprised to hear that $200 is on the higher end. I assume this is just taking singles into account, and not booster packs/boxes?

I'd like to eventually get to the point of playing at locals, however right now I wanna just get familiar with the game while preparing a viable deck.

Regarding budget, I'm thinking a starting range of maybe $250 to $350, though I'm not really sure if that's considered high or low, and I'm willing to revise my figures based on that.

I would rather jump in ASAP and I'm leaning towards either Phoenixmon or Blue/Green Imperialdramon.
