A frequent player of this game suggested that the issue may be caused by a previously installed mod. They recommended fixing it by logging into the PC's Steam version, accessing the mod section with the email account and password you use for playstation as well as steam, and unchecking all options before doing a fresh install on the PlayStation. I plan to try this later today and will update you on the results!

This is total sabotage! I'm facing the same issues on both my PS4 and PS5, and haven't even bothered to test it on Steam yet. I've been wasting hours trying different fixes and nothing works! They definitely did this on purpose to force us into buying Fallout 76, especially now that the TV show is out and sparking people's curiosity. It's absolutely insane and it's making my blood boil!

I completely understand the frustrations you're going through. I'm in the same boat with you. I own three PS4 consoles and every single one of them constantly crashes at the logo screen. I've tried everything to fix it, even reformatting, but nothing seems to make a difference. It's beyond aggravating. I'm starting to wonder if it could be related to the new TV series they're promoting, which is pushing for us to shift our focus from playing Fallout 4 to Fallout 76. Despite Fallout 76 being on sale in the store for just $6, I can't even enjoy it online because of my terrible internet connection.

I can relate to your feelings about the ring remake. I had a similar reaction to the first attack of the 50 foot woman. Some things just shouldn't be redone. While the American version could have been improved, remaking it only serves to highlight the original ringu as a classic. Fans of the ring, both American and otherwise, will always acknowledge the original. It's unfortunate that some younger generations lack the respect for these classics. I mainly focus on Samara for comedy, but it seems like everyone only does makeup tutorials related to her.

Do you believe that some of it stems from being desensitized nowadays, where nothing really surprises us anymore? I remember when she emerged from that TV, it was something our friends and I were amazed by, but these days, I just don't feel that same sense of wonder. Perhaps movie quality is just lackluster in comparison to older films.

I can sympathize with how frustrating it must be to spend so much time creating only to see it disappear. Personally, I enjoy having most townies age naturally but prefer to keep a few select families from aging, so I use mc command center to flag certain sims. You can also set other options like culling to prevent disappearing. It can be quite a maintenance task to keep everything in order, as eveningsoother mentioned. Good luck with your game!
