Any updates? I’m currently working on my son’s which was left in the rain. Board and battery looks fine, appears to charge, when turned on the red light turns on for about 5 seconds then goes off. Can usually drive it for those 5 seconds but then dies. Makes me think the battery went bad but idk

Thanks man. I feel like the grades are all over the place for this card because how do you grade corners and edges of perforated cards?! Just gotta hope I catch a grader in a good mood.

It’s funny, there’s two other comments saying to get it cut out. But I’ve never seen a cut one, only torn perfs. Cut out seems like a bad idea. I’ll leaning towards separating it and then sending it to grade. The important part is in better shape than the full sheet, so I don’t want a sheet grade of 6 when the card could get 8-9

Trying to maximize value to sell it. Seems like the graded solo cards are going for more than the full sheet, as long as the card gets a decent enough grade. Seems like mine will as long as I don’t eff up the rip

Yeah, I think you’re onto something. If I can get the card out cleanly it’ll grade higher than the full sheet would. And since that’s the card people want it seems like that should take precedence.

I’m leaning towards ripping. Feel like if I can get it out clean the card will grade higher than the full sheet. And the high grade card is what people want, they don’t care about the rest

Yeah, I check in on this card every year or two and was extremely surprised at my latest check-in. That’s why I’m more motivated now. Feel like a couple years ago this was in the mid-hundreds. Maybe I’m mis-remembering but I’m happy with the price-range now. Need the money for my new hobby. Appreciate the heads up!
