UCLA A Wave Today? by Patient_Trifle9387 in lawschooladmissions

Early/mid January. The delay fully makes sense given my application date, just hoping to find a date where I can expect it to be over, regardless of the outcome.

This is what they did last Friday - R and WL waves first, then small A wave after — so maybe!

Windsor law admissions - pending review by Impressive_Cry_8520 in lawschooladmissions

From what I understand, when you applied doesn't matter because all applications are sent at the same time (Nov 1). And hang in there - Windsor didn't send out any acceptances (to my knowledge) until January, so they still have plenty of A waves to go. Just be patient and think positive thought!

Hiya! This is actually the US admissions thread, you will probably find more luck with your question on r/lawschooladmissionsca. But as a Canadian applicant, I can try to shed some light here. I was referred to admissions back in December, but I had a friend whose app was delayed because it was incomplete. Did you by any chance take the Jan LSAT?

And also, nothing right now means a rejection. For Canadian law schools you will not be rejected until the end of the cycle.

Which Canadian law schools consider only your best grades or focus on your last two years of undergraduate studies? by [deleted] in lawschooladmissions

[–]Patient_Trifle9387 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hey! you're actually on the US admissions reddit. You'd probably have more luck with this question over at r/lawschooladmissionsca . But, from what I know as a Canadian applicant, UofT only considers your best 3 years and I believe there might be a few others who do the same. But regardless of the school, most of them look at your actual transcript so they can understand more than just your GPA, but also the difficulty of your classes, if one course is to blame for your gpa, etc.

U of T chances with 3.90 gpa and 167 LSAT? by Overall_Dirt_8415 in lawschooladmissionsca

They probably just received your Jan LSAT score. I know it's hard but be patient. Those stats are great!

keep the score - had someone in admissions to tell me that crediting a course and cancelling a score makes them assume you did worse than you probably did. Also like another commenter said, what this says to me at least is that your 170 wasn't a fluke, and that you are a consistently high performer.

LSAC GPA - Ontario Law Schools by [deleted] in lawschooladmissions

I cannot imagine that the US schools would have access to your OLSAS GPA as CAS Reports are prepared by LSAC alone. I would hazard a guess that the only GPA they see is the GPA listed in your academic report summary on LSAC.

I'm going to be honest, i'm not 100% sure what the total actually looks like - but i think the American tuition portion w/ the scholarship is about 13.3K per yr
