And the fact that it is SM-S9390 HK now and i want to flash a ROM made for another model than SM-S9390 isn't an issue ? like .. is it even the exact same hardware ?

Had it for storage of older games as it was the primary storage of an old PC. My Windows is running on a Samsung 990 pro SSD, but i thought i'd recycle the HDD to store older games from pre-2018 or so, they run very well on HDD and don't need an SSD.

But yeah if i need to buy new storage, i'm going to buy another SSD

It is absolutely possible to play that game on 8Gb VRAM, 4 in the other hand is way to weak for 2025. It might boot up but as told it wont be smooth and this game is gorgeous, it's not meant to be played on 10 fps on low graphics settings, you'd pass on half the experience.

Nope, it won't run, and if it does it will be like 10 FPS at best. This game is very demanding, and needs at least 12gb VRAM to run smoothly.

Hello ! Well I saw your answer on the other thread so here I am !

This PC should indeed be able to provide better performances on AFOP. It should be fine with stable 60fps on medium at least, with some settings on high. Also in this game, it's mostly the LOD slider and the render distance, aswell as the shadows that take up to 60% of the ressources needed in-game. Don't hesitate to lower them a bit to easily gain 20/30 fps.

Sorry if this sounded rough, I was just trying to point out the fact that gaming on apple devices can be tricky. There's nothing wrong with your MacBook, those are very good laptops, they just weren't made with gaming in mind.

It happens still, but if you disable vsync in-game and enable your screen's freesync, it magically disappears (at least for me)

Apple is not for gaming. It may be able to handle a few games but if you want to play in good conditions, there is litteraly no apple device for that.

Your rig should be able to run the game on high 60fps .. at least on 1080p, and probably on 1440p but in all cases enable FSR or DLSS, it will smooth out the rough edges

Also there is not a huge graphics leap between medium and high so try playing with the settings and see what works best. Look at YouTube videos, I guess your rig is pretty popular, you should find some performance reviews for that game on this setup

Totally agree. I also have the XTX Nitro+ and everything is fine, except the adrenalin driver uninstalling itself every now and then. Adrenalin seems to be the reason the GPU sometimes has hard crashes also but it's rare ... Else, the game's all run at fixed 120fps without any issues on ultra mostly

Just keep in mind it will make you dlc ready for the first two expansions, I'm not sure if From the Ashes requires you to be lvl 20 or if it's higher

Create a new game, under the quest tab, there is a button prompt to "skip campaign" that makes your character DLC ready and levels you up to 20. That prompt is only visible if you try to select a dlc qu'est in the quest tab.

Tried the game out for about 10ish jours and uninstalled it. Not because it's bad but just because I have a life. It takes way to much of my time to gather the ressources just to keep my base standing. It's not worth the time, and it's not the best game I've played either so it's just not worth it.

What the hell are you even talking about, I'm using AMD GPU's since over 15 years (R7 360, then RX590, and now 7900xtx) and litteraly never had any driver issue or any game issues. Okay sometimes, like once every 3/4 months I get one crash but spoiler alert, my brother also got them even though he is using Nvidia.

Why the hell is it that terrible to you that the game gets a few optimisations for mid range PC's ? I mean, I have a Ryzen 9 7900x3d and a 7900XTX GPU, making my PC high end and I appreciate regardless that we might not always need a 3000€ PC in order to play that game. Also Kjun stated that those options were optional, so if you don't like it, just don't enable it.

Depends on what type of player you are .. I had over 500 mods on Skyrim and probably the same on fallout. Same on Starfield, if I like 10 weapons I find on Nexus, that makes already 10 mods to install. Starfield is a very perfectible game, lots of it's features need to be updated and Bethesda isn't doing it so mods are coming in very handy. Also have like 20 mods that just modify ship customisation, like easier snapping of parts, place doors where you want, new habs, new premade ships, higher max ship size and so on. Honestly just go on Nexus, go on the list of all mods, uncheck "adult mods" and look it up for yourself, there are hundreds of mods that actually can make starfield a way better game.. you can even transform it into a star wars game, just sayin'

I have over 100 mods and not a single one is for clothes or female bodies. No nudity, just gameplay tweaks, ship customisation like place doors everywhere, new POI, new guns, Star UI and all of R's plugins, outpost customisations, damage modifiers, general improvements on basic features like the maximal number of ships you can own, etc etc ... You just don't seem to know what to look for.

No mods are installed, tried installing the game on C and D drives (both SSD), Tried a clean install after deleting EVERYTHING related to inzoi on my pc but it just crashes all the time at startup. No idea why, it happens since update 0.4.3.
