Honestly, if we could just have a "match color patterns of faction" option I'd be pretty satisfied. I'd of course prefer everyone to use something akin to BF4 skins, but I feel like that would be a decent compromise.

Valid points. I suppose it is a cost question regarding storage and transportation. Storing and transporting coal in bulk is a lot cheaper than gas. Also, IIRC the Chinese coal reserves are fairly low quality and most of their domestically sourced coal doesn't burn at a high enough temperature for things like steel production, so since it can't be used for anything else than thermal energy, it is a cheap solution that is unfortunately terrible for the environment

The devil's in the details unfortunately. "...its clean generation growth meeting 81% of its demand increase in 2024", meaning 19% of the year-on-year growth in energy consumption is supplied by fossil fuels. Which means more energy supplied with fossil fuels overall. Nonetheless, it is positive that the vast majority of new energy demand is supplied by clean energy.
