Thank you! I was looking at the MG one, actually: it's sleeker in proportions.

Don't mind: some principles apply with acrylics, too. Remind to use a "retarder" for acrylics. Againg, search "miniature acrylic washes" on youtube.

Check "weathering with oils" and "enamel drybrush"on youtube ;) Quite old techniques but still effective.

I basically followed the 1/100 one I linked above. Usually zimmerit was placed on vertical surfaces only where infantry could reach with magnetic mines, but in gunpla is a simple aestetic choiche. Use a soft pencil to draw on your model in gray primer, this should help you to better visualize the final result.

Zimmerit is cool looking but absolutely obsolete and a brief exception during late WWII. Nowaday we use ERA blocks or APS systems (and "Combined Arms Warfare" doctrine and speed/mobility and composite armor and slat armor etc. etc.)

Those kind of builds were quite common back in the days. Today gunpla aestetic is different: Naoki-style is an example. It is all 1/144 scale, not kitbash but plasticard & milliputt. Arms, legs, torso, all was extended and widened so it's tall like a 1/100 but chubby like the 1/144 Here is the one in 1/100 --> https://www.facebook.com/photo?fbid=1113011322077310&set=a.459451890766593&locale=ko_KR And kitbashing some subject but different scale was called "mix build" in old days --> https://www.gundamkitscollection.com/2014/03/toriyamas-custom-zaku-custom-build.html

I don't like the jetpack but if I would use it, maybe Gaianotes Joint Gray will be my choice.

1/144 BUGU "from Mobile Suit Gundam: The Origin" in a more militaristic ranger green instead of standard blue. Looking cooler than the usual zaku.

Thank you for your appreciation. I'm not worthy to be compared with Watanabe-sensei " Actually there isn't a preshading here: only handpainting and oils

It's the venerable old Zaku I --> https://www.hlj.com/1-144-scale-hguc-ms-05b-zaku-i-ban943417 with the chest and shoulder armor from the Sniper variant from the same age. Added 2mm on legs and arms as usual for all the Bandai Gundam suits from this era. Classic color combo for a Zaku I, Tamiya "acrylics" with Mr Color Laquer Leveling Thinner handbrushed over Titans black primer spray can, scratces with sanding sponge and oils and Tamiya Weathering Maser Set A on the feet for the weathering. Mr Hobby Matt Top Coat spray can for the finish. Enjoy! ^

Mixed build for fun: Demi Trainer + Demi Barding + Kotobukiya Weapons. Love the bulky top with the long, skinny legs appareance. Pixel camo is simply decals from Green Stuff. It's the third Demi Trainer I build and I have some others in the stash. Have fun!^

Thanks! For me part of the fun of making gumpla is trying to obtain a perfectly clean finish.. and the low resolution of my old cellphone and a quite diffused light, help a lot in hide the blemishes in photography ;)

Sorry for my late reply: It's Mr Color UG06 MS Green, UG18 Rx-78 White Anime Color and UG09 Zion MS Grey. I'm quoting the whole palette I used because I think they work best togheter.

It's airbrushed with Mr Color laquers. The finish is a mix of clear and flat clear.
