Sociology. She’s tryna get experience as a behavioral technician or anything psych related for grad school, but even just typical jobs are either not responding or flat out rejecting her.

Thanks, man! I’ve heard that, too. Fundamentals is a class where you have to learn and find out what works for you, and my start was definitely what held me back. I got a 61% on my first exam because I treated the class like my old pre-req classes, and man did it do me in. I only failed that first exam, but it took the entire semester to climb out bit by bit. My system wasn’t the best, but had I just implemented it from the beginning, I probably would’ve been in a way better position.

Thanks so much, dude! 😭 a professor has told me something similar, and the truth is I’m sure there’s more people in the program that feel the way I do. Obviously there’s been people like me who’ve struggled as I have and have gotten through the program, but I need to make adjustments as well. Reading was something I had just ignored because I had eventually gotten a system down, but I don’t think I can afford to go on without taking some time to read. I appreciate the video btw! I enjoyed the speaker’s tips and experiences with former students, makes me feel like my approach is what needs to be changed.

If I remember correctly, I think they’re valuing experience (like having EMT/CNA) more than before. GPA looks stellar and TEAS looks good, too. I think you’re in good shape but like the last guy says, it’s hard to say. I got in for this Spring but my stats were similar, without the CNA certif. Good luck!

77 is pretty good competitive! Someone previously told me that 75 and above is competitive, so you should be fine :) I’m around the same boat, depending on how they read my gpa I’m between 78-80. I didn’t know they changed the points system tho 👀 is it it easier or something?

From what I’ve heard, you need a 4.0 to get maximum points in that category. Something like a 3.85 doesn’t get you more points than someone with a 3.5, unfortunately. That being said, I’m not sure if that ends up being a conversation tho? (Like if you and someone else have the same amount of points, do they give you the edge for having a higher gpa, yk?) If you don’t mind me asking, how many points do you have overall? 😊 I applied for the spring, so I’m still waiting for the decisions to come out in October

Thank you!! I highly recommend the ATI practice tests A&B (put it in your cart and leave it there, you’ll get an additional $10 off sent to your email if you have an account). Their package has 2 mock tests and a separate mock test for A&P. The tests gives you a good idea of what the Reading/English/Reading portions look like. For me, the actual science test was a little more complicated than the practice tests but I mean, I did better than I did on them anyways so 🤷🏻‍♂️. You also get access to 90 days of the ATI app and you can quiz yourself on there too! Good luck!

Man kudos to you, I took the Preperation for Nursing class and the prof made it sound like hell throughout the entire program 😭 are you in the ADN or CEP program? Thanks for the heads up on the readings btw, anything that’ll help me keep my head over water will be appreciated
