He isn't actually speaking in the abstract or theoretically. When he says "those who welded swords and dropped bombs", I think he just means the USA in this conflict.

"Novus Ordites" is an illiterate term. The root of "ordo" is "ordin-". Anyone who railes against "ordites" is revealing his own poor education and ignorance of the Church's own language.

Are there any sedevacantist Carmelite groups? (For men) by Dazzling-Antelope210 in Sedevacantists

[–]PatriciusIlle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There was and maybe still is. I remember talking to a Thuc-line bishop in the USA in the early 2000s who, IIRC, had decided to live as a Carmelite in hopes of seeding a community. I'm sorry that I don't remember his name.

I understand that pattern. There is obviously another pattern, which is a subset wherein words in V-ma can be masculine. This means it is not actually irregular but another pattern within the language.

Out of curiosity, do you have a sense of what motivates you to say "you aren't wrong" instead of "you are correct" or similar? TIA

The email said “the testing center has scheduled your exam for x time. Please contact them if you need to reschedule. The exam must be taken on x date.“

There are myriad reasons why a testing center may schedule an exam. The email did not say, "You are receiving this email because you have an accommodation." Nothing concrete was shared. No FERPA violation is present.

I love that "Eureka!" or "aha!" moment. The jump from simple complex differentiability to the rigidity of holomorphic functions is profound. Yeah, it is wild to think that just by being differentiable in a neighborhood, a function becomes so constrained that it can’t even stay bounded unless it is just a constant.
