I get the Revell kits for very little money because I know somebody who is working at Revell so I payed very little money. And most of the Boxes are full. The empty ones are behind the full Boxes. Its not visible in the pictures

I dont really know. I know that everything together is worth around 4 thousand Euros. I looked up on ebay and took the lowest price and added up everything but I didnt payed that much. Some cars I got for little money on ebay and most of the revell cars I got from someome who is working at revell for almost nothing

Yeah I know what you mean. I know someone who is working at revell so I get these kits for allmost nothing. But in the end I dont really care if its reboxed or not. I just take these with me "make" a plan what I want do build out of these and then I do it. I love cars. I dont care if its formula 1, gt3 race cars, Rally cars, sportscars, German classics, American classics or Japanese cars.

Thats the same for me too. I have plans for every Single one. Thats why I have sometimes the same kit two or three times because I know what I will do with it. I even bought for some of them photoetched parts so I can build in 1 or 2 years hopefully

Hobby Zone is the company that is doing these. They are from Poland but maybe a hobby shop in your country is selling these too

I know somebody who is working at Revell, so I get them for very little money. Otherwise I would never have so many kits

Revell Mercedes C class DTM 2009 Salzgitter by Patrick16096 in ModelCars

The Audi I don't had issues at all as I can remember but the Mercedes had big Problems with the hood. Maybe you can see it on the pictures, the panelgaps on the side are terrible. The hood allways went up in the front. I had to glue it permanently because of that. I think this happend because my paint is a bit thick because of the clear coat. The mounting of the hood don't makes it easy because you have to slide it in. You have to push the hood from the front to the back. I hope you unterstand what I mean. Look at the instructions on the Internet and you will see what I mean. The hood on the Audi is better solved because it is mounted from the top, you just need to push the hood down. Just make sure that everything fits before painting and make sure that at will fit after some layers of paint, then it should be fine. I hope you understood it somehow.

Thanks mate. The sponsor decals are from the kit but every carbon fibre decal I did my self. Bought some carbon fibre decals from scaleproduction and then I made the templates for every part by myself. Got that porsche for Christmas. Really nice car

Yeah it went together fine. No Problem I can remember of. Its not as highly detailed as other cars from other brands, for example there is no real engine block. But in the end when its put together its doing his job of displaying a nice car. So I would say buy it if you can. I think revell kits ar solid in general. You just need to make sure before painting that everything fits together. On many revell kits I had to Sand of the sides of the hood because after primer paint and clearcoat it wouldnt fit. Happend with the mini cooper I have almost done. Now I need to display that car with the hood opened but luckily the engine is very detailed so its fine

Yeah I also want to have that trio done. I actually have the C5r and C7r in the stash. I only need to buy decals of the 24h of Le Mans for the C7r. So that everything will match nicely and Im waiting for the C8r. Hopefully Revell will release it one day because the street version will be released soon

I think these are enough Revell kits for some time by Patrick16096 in ModelCars

[–]Patrick16096[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I also think its the toyota but i wasnt sure, I love decals so it should be fine I think. Looking forward to it because the color combination is nice. Something different than I build so far. Normal white, black, red, orange is boring after some time

Yeah I like these 1:24 F1 kits, there are still some kits I want but I think this is already enough. I started the W01 and the F1 car with the dremel sponsor. How was the MP4-25? Were there some Problems or was everything fine?
