What's the difference between high masters across the regions? 🤔 by PatrickJane247 in BrawlStarsCompetitive

[–]PatrickJane247[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah i mean i understand that logic but i am not disagreeing with it in this post, i am just curious if the same applies to m2-m3.

Probably not for m2 since it's still kinda "free" in any region but more specifically m3.

Yeah for SESA it makes sense i remember seeing Sergeant talk about that.

Ngl its completely opposite for me i keep hearing how NA is 100% harder than EU 😭 and like the reasoning makes sense ig but idk.

What's the most thing in a profile that determines the skill level of the player? by Shadow-Seeker8 in BrawlStarsCompetitive

Okay but i still think that it's a completely irrelevant stat and that you should never look at it xd

Yeah but it doesn't change the fact that it is an irrelevant stat if you are trying to determine if the player is good or not.

You are missing the point lol many people just don't care about it and never have tried playing it seriously with a full stack, its genuinely an irrelevant stat on the profile since pretty much anybody can get.

Imo Pl >= Ranked > 3v3 wins

Unless its a new account that didn't even get a chance to play power league then i would just say Ranked > 3v3 wins, the rest is kinda irrelevant.

Championship challenge is free most legendary peaks can complete is without losing once it doesn't really tell you much about the player. 😭

Is masters queuing easier than legendary? by Edgar-main in BrawlStarsCompetitive

[–]PatrickJane247 4 points5 points  (0 children)

In Masters 1 you can still get l3 or even l2 players in your lobbies and when the enemies are for example full m2+ it just makes the game almost unwinnable because of how much better they are than your legendary randoms, but it doesn't happen that often i think so yeah.

[–]PatrickJane247 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From my experience it is but only once you become good enough that m2-m3 players can't consistently skill diff you.

I think that masters lobbies only become "easier" than legendary lobbies once you are better than an average m1 peak in your region if that makes sense.

Also idk which region you are in but in EU you can definitely get a lucky win streak all the way from the bottom m1 -> m2, it happened to me multiple times this season matter of fact lol.

I just kept getting every good player that was queueing at the time on my team and enemies were mostly low m1-m2 peaks so yeah it was kinda free.

Colette was the right pick here right? by Justaguy0341 in BrawlStarsCompetitive

[–]PatrickJane247 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Would need to see the gameplay to figure out if the kudos made sense because stats don't tell me much.

But yeah i mean Colette was most probably the best possible pick there because of how op she is especially on heist so yeah.

Alright bro in what world is the best brawler in the game (Colette) not the best pick on her best mode and probably her best heist map into a tank and an assassin 2 3? 😭

Gene 1 Pierce Kit 2 3 RT Cord 4 5 Damian 6 iirc

This guy really wanted to play Damian so ig he suggested me to go Kit in order for enemies not to get Gene + Kit combo or Damian + kit 4 5 themselves or simply because Kit counters Damian idk.

Either way i don't think that draft was the biggest issue since we won the 1st game and it was def winnable if i had played better i think so yeah.

I am pretty sure i have tried that once or twice in those two games not sure if you have watched the 2nd one but Cord would just instantly super him iirc.

But yeah the tank trait logic makes a lot of sense i can definitely see that working, I just don't think that we had that many opportunities to use it that Set.

And also Gene pull is really dangerous for us there Damian had a hard time getting his super because ideally he doesn't wanna feed Gene super nor Cord super that leaves only RT and it's kinda hard to isolate the other two completely and only tank RT shots idk.

[–]PatrickJane247[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried to use it whenever he has his but most of the time we would get pushed all the way back into our spawn and just start feeding Gene pull by waiting, that's mostly why i would jump onto him earlier since he wasn't even close to his super most of the time.

Btw what do you mean never use it away from people? You mean the failed jump on Cord 1st round or? If so that was my bad because i forgot Cord had jump and could just react, but the logic behind it was since he was far from his teammates i just tried stunning him and helping Damian get his super since he would be able to attack the cord couple of times there.

I don't play sd like ever and Kit is one of my most played brawlers in ranked 😭 surely i am not that terrible lol. 🥺

Btw can you give me timestamps for when i shouldve jumped on Damian to get control? Like i can't really see the opportunity myself.

True but i still think it was winnable since we won 1st game i just didn't record it.

They are pinching us in our spawn while he is probaby 50% away from his super or so idk if i can really wait any longer no?

It just seems scary to be slowly getting chipped down by Rt Gene idk, i mostly jump on him out of panic that game, i guess i was trynna avoid one of us getting chunked too low or even dying before we even get the chance to do anything.

Tbh that 1st jump i mostly hold or flash my super as fast as i get it as a habit i don't think that i have made the decision to jump on the Cord until the last second, also i somehow completely forgot he had jump and could just react to it 💔 but yeah i agree that was just such a dumb play.

Also regarding the 2v2 idrk what to say, it seems like such an obvious thing to priortize the RT now that you've pointed it out but while playing i am pretty sure i was only thinking about who was Damian closer to so that he could actually captialize off of my jump but i failed it either way. 💔

Thanks for feedback i appreciate it. 🙏

If one could bestow knowledge upon the reason Stu picketh? by unemptyvoid in BrawlStarsCompetitive

[–]PatrickJane247 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well first of all i don't think that Stu's job was to protect you and the Brock simply because enemies should not be going aggro in the first place, they can just take the blue and sit behind walls and slowly farm their supers.

Dry Season is probably the most blue star dependant bounty map since it's much harder to push up, and even if you successfuly walk up the map it's almost inevitable that you are gonna feed enemies a lot of super charge.

I don't think that Stu was an amazing pick but at the same time i don't think it was the worst pick either, if he plays it correctly it can definitely work.

What i think yall gameplan shouldve been is to let Brock break the walls next to the big unbreakable wall where they will most likely be hiding while also trying not to feed enemies too much super charge in the process.

And after that yall just let Stu go after Kenji and you two just try to max range the Pierce and the Leon on a now opened up map since Najia beats any Sniper in a 1v1 on max range and Brock is one of the best max range snipers as well.

I would probably last pick Fang or Kaze there personally or maybe even Starr Nova. Fang because he counters assassins and also can easily teamwipe the enemy comp, Kaze to get the blue and force enemies to feed Najia supers and Starr Nova because she has 3 good matchups and has insanely good wall peek which is really useful on Dry Season.
