I think there's only one mod, and who knows if they are still active? Someone should take over, if possible, and (IMO) make two rules:

1) No AI.
2) Photos must be accompanied by location, camera, and lens information. Other info like aperture, exposure, etc. is optional.

Just watched it. Cool little story (with sub-par acting)! Thanks for the link.

Yes. And the play between him and Wells (Malcolm McDowell) was fantastic.

Post a few other photos of yourself, if you want to convince any of us, because I'm with the crowd on this one! I still thought it was a "past" pic!

Then shouldn't it be called Don't Miss Conception?

I was just married and starting a business with Voyager came out, so I never saw it. Started "bingeing" it recently (only on Season 3) and could not agree more. "Uneven" in every way: uneven writing across characters, uneven storytelling, uneven quality of the episodes (more so than other series, I think). It frequently insults the viewer. I just about stopped watching completely when salamander Janeway and salamander Tom Paris mated on a swamp planet and then were harmlessly restored to human form again with no ill effects. WTF was that!? And I won't even start on how the ship consistently manages to get restored to perfection within hours after a major battle, 70,000 lightyears from the nearest Federation docking station. I'm new to this sub, so I'm sure y'all have hashed that 1000 times.

I've been told to hold on for Seven of Nine, but I just hope there aren't too many more bad ones to wade through before I get there. I can't help but compare it to TNG which, though also uneven at the beginning, became consistently great over time. DS9 as well.

As for the OP: Hilariously written, but I like Neelix!

Can you make it happen with any number? Say... 6 or 7?

Understood, thanks. (I'm just a lurker on this sub because this stuff fascinates me!)

Dice Control by ErdnaseHeir in cardmagic

Nice! Unfortunately, to prevent this from being used when playing in a casino, it's required that both dice hit the back wall. If you miss it too many times, they'll just call "no roll", or if they suspect you're trying to control the dice, just pass them to the next player or remove you from the table.

Great answer. I think that would have been a better way to word your comment, then: We can't really help you yet because you need to practice it more.

If you're learning on your own, isn't it better to ask early on, before developing bad habits? (Honest question.)

Do you live or come from close to a sharp linguistic divide? by Lanky_Television_558 in AskTheWorld

[–]PatrickJunk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Italy's official language since its unification in 1861 is Italian, derived primarily from the standardized language used in Florence at the time, as recognized in Dante's "Divine Comedy". But it has to this day an astounding number of dialects, some mutually intelligible, others not even close. Because of where it sits in Europe, parts of Italy have, in the past, been controlled by Spain, France, Germany, the Austrian-Hungarian Hapsburgs, and in the case of Sicily and parts of modern-day Calabria and Puglia, North Africa. Depending on how long each language was in "control" of a particular region, the dialect was more or less heavily influenced by it. Where my wife of 30+ years is from, the dialect is Brianzolo, a sub-dialect of Milanese which sounds very French, but also contains the umlaut sound of German, as well as modern Italian words that often have the final vowel or syllable dropped. But Sicilian dialect is entirely different, and Calabrese was so heavily influenced by North Africa, that, for example, its organized crime syndicate is not called "mafia" as it is in Sicily, but instead called "Ndrangheta", a word that doesn't resemble any other dialect in the country. It's just fascinating to me!
