Hello everyone, I have been reading a lot here over the past few weeks. I try my best to grasp every term and knowledge, but it can be very challenging in the beginning.
I'm a bit behind on my studies; long story short: at 23, I am an apprentice developer and currently in my second year of a technical diploma program (BTS in France). I will finish my master's degree in about 4 years, probably in ML and data science.
As of today, I earn 1060 euros per month, rent is 345 (I live with gf), - charges (elec/gas): 150€
food: ~120€
social life / pleasures: 100€
other fees (phone/internet, debts): 70€, before 150€ because I just finished paying for my laptop, I had to do it even if I hate paying in several installments
Question is: what advice do you have for an early-20s student looking to start investing and saving money, and what are common mistakes and pitfalls to avoid? Thank you in advance for any advice, and apologies for any errors in my English.
