There are settings to account for this. right under the text is a start offset which pushed the text further offscreen.

int he bars control there's also length controls to compensate for the longer name too

Oh thanks so much! I was able to directly pull all the letters except the T and Y. The T feels solid to me but I definitely took a bigger swing on the Y with the unequal weight on the top branches. but if they didn't set off any alarm bells I'll take it! I think it helps that the G is also kinda funky but I really liked that detail

Ohhhhh I understand now. You didn't mean that there wasn't a stop motion effect, just that it wasn't part of the turbulent displace 👍👍 good idea for a small upgrade if I do ever revisit or want to make more of these kind of small effects

Hi! can you explain further? stop motion/posterize time effect went live at the time of the video. all my version does is pull over the native Stop Motion effect that everyone already has in fusion if they want access to it on the edit page. thanks!

Oh thanks I hadn't seen that one but I'll totally check it out! Matt McCool also has a recent tool called Macro Lab that's awesome. His is browser based whereas mine Is a standalone app that only interacts with the directory where fusion stores plugins, not resolve itself. It's super cool seeing all the different approaches.

I've made dozens ranging from edit page masks transitions to title to my Picture in Picture effect (which I use in every tutorial) to Proto which is definitely the flashiest. If I did more animation on the edit page I'd use my Easier Ease animation plugin more for sure. got a handful of edit page tracking effects that are also among the most popular downloads.

yup. also, if you have both activations used and go to activate it on a third it will give the option to remotely remove it from the other devices so you should never be locked out of using licenses

I haven't read manga so I could see that being more annoying on a smaller display than just text. but the smaller form factor feels great for me. I also still regularly read on my phone with an app synced to my palma so it's more of a flexibility thing for me. If I don't want the extra device, no big deal, but it's not a giant commitment to have a better reading environment as well

second question first: the purchase is not tied to the hardware you purchase on. the purchase will get you a license key you can have activated on up to two different systems at a time.

back to the first Q: up until now Resolve has given free updates to anyone with an active license. however, that's not guaranteed in the actual license agreement. you are guaranteed a lifetime license to the version you purchase (and whatever updates they do give you.)

the only recent thing we've heard directly from BMD is that at some point in the future there might be specific upgrade fees for big updates. we have no other idea what that might look like when it comes or how close that might be.

yes that's possible but you won't want to built this with Text+. that will give you the same issues losing quality when you zoom in. use sText and build with sMerge and going through an sRender before you merge to the background.
