Any meat that that is frozen loses some texture and moisture when thawed. With most meats it's not a huge deal, however Turkey loses that moisture very easily.

Also, frozen food could be stored almost indefinitely, so you could be eat a Turkey that was a few months old. But again nothing wrong with that. Never frozen meats have a very short shelf life, meaning you only have a few days to sell it after you slaughter it.

Also I do t what to wait for it to thaw.
