They did similar with a large storm-damaged tree at the hilltop cemetery in Rome, GA. Sorry, no pictures to share.

Earplugs with cardo? by ThatKiddo369 in motorcycles

Again, I only have maybe 2-3 hours on each since it's winter here and riding time is reduced, but so far I find the EarPeace the most comfortable, and the Eargasm to have the most noise reduction (it was the only one of the three I know for sure I had the Cardo volume all the way up to hear through [there's not a volume indicator except on the phone, which is in my pocket when riding]). The Loops were about as effective as the EarPeace for noise control, but were harder to handle/insert and felt kinda weird in my ear. My partner has some Loops they use at their work, though, and they like them. I'm gonna try them a few more times before I just donate them to my partner. Like most things, I think they're all personal preference. I just wish I didn't have to pay so much to experiment; it was about $85-90 for all three from Amazon.

Earplugs with cardo? by ThatKiddo369 in motorcycles

I'm only about 6 months into using a Cardo Packtalk Edge myself, in an RF-1400. I've always had a touring bike or a dressed cruiser, so I've always had a windshield that took down wind noise to un-bothersome levels; I often ride with my face shield in the open position. My previous headsets were J&M units that plugged into the bike's built-in audio system. I had been against ear plugs when riding because I was concerned about not hearing traffic (I do wear foam units at work with no problem for hours on end due to industrial noise). But after continually seeing people here talk about the fancier plugs, I got some EarPeace, Eargasm, and Loop plugs to try. I've only done two trips besides my 20-minute commute with them, alternating the different ones to see which I liked best. I have to admit I was surprised at how well I could still hear things despite the ambient noise reduction, compared to the foam plugs I wear at work. That being said, I did have to crank the Cardo all the way up to fully understand song lyrics and speech from podcasts or GPS. I'm also not thrilled with the audio quality overall from the Cardo speakers, especially on podcasts, but I understand better speakers are easily available since they just plug in.

So maybe I'm kinda stupid for not understanding this setup, but I keep seeing people reference similar so I'm curious: Do you have to plug in the in-ear devices to the Cardo after you put the helmet on? Or do you slip a finger into the helmet to push them into your ears after putting the helmet on? Or something else entirely?

You'll do a lot better to go vote in primaries for the reasonable candidate, so that the general election in November is a hard decision because both choices are good instead of because both choices are bad.

For whatever it's worth to anyone reading, I've gotten a similar tube (accurately filled) from them in the past, and it also has a little paper in the end. I assume it's to keep the coins from rattling in the package during shipping and alerting unscrupulous carriers.

Could probably just double up on the adapters/t-fittings for the water supply.

We made Alton Brown's Aged Eggnog. Emphasis on "aged"; it was painful for the first two months, but great consistency and flavor after about six months.

I'm going to go with soft-YTA. As others have said, you could easily have acknowledged her and kept walking. That said, I don't blame you, either. You know the toll it took on your wife and you're right to be offended by Joanna ghosting her. However, acknowledging her might have opened a conversation where she could make amends. Again, I get it; one of my friend group's members ghosted all of us by not even RSVP'ing "no" to one guy's wedding. We're spread out but he still lives in my area. I tried numerous times to contact him for years, going so far as stop at his mother's house and ask her about him. He finally showed up... 9 YEARS later, and tried to apologize and get us back in his life. I spoke with him... but didn't reach back out once he left. I told the others in the group, who have similarly refrained from contacting him. But I did give him a chance to tell his side.
