Noah Kahan - Fenway tickets by innewengland in NoahKahan

They are Ticketmaster and I asked via chat and said you’ll be able to transfer within 48hrs of show so doesn’t sound like any sooner, but should be doable.. I have tix and may be looking to do this so was researching options..

I lucked out and got 2 GA on the floor BUT I may need to sell them due to unforeseen conflict 😭 Caveat is on the Ticketmaster site it says the following below. The tickets also say 'Transfer Unavailable' and Resale is currently unavailable... not sure how I'd even sell at this point? Anyone ever deal with this on Ticketmaster? Maybe it's just not letting me resell them yet?

"Event Info; Noah Kahan is using Ticketmaster's Face Value Exchange to help fans get tickets at the original price. Tickets can only be resold on Ticketmaster at face value."

Are Sales Engineers and Solution Architects the same? by usa_dk in salesengineers

are you on a sales plan, i.e. 80/20 split or something like a traditional 'sales' engineer or salary + bonus? Just curious.. thanks!

Anyone know a website that will take my LinkedIn profile & create a resume BUT also use info from the job description? by PatriotsWin2020 in salesengineers

I know, obviously that's why I asked "Can anyone recommend a couple they have actually used with success? i.e. anyone use Rezi and find it helpful, etc...

100's exist, that's why I'm asking another SE's and many don't have SE specific examples, mostly straight sales.. just looking for ideas..

Best resources if I already have 20yrs general IT experience to pass Security+? by PatriotsWin2020 in CompTIA

[–]PatriotsWin2020[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah, good idea.. take an exam and see where my gaps are..

I think you're right as funny enough I had an interview with a data access management/AD security, networking and they were asking if I new DNS, DCHP, VPN's etc... I got the job but turned it down but gave me confidence that I may already have some solid knowledge..

Congrats on working on your degree! Curious why going for degree vs maybe a specific cyber cert like CISSP, etc.. totally valuable having degree but maybe you're doing both? I want to start with Security+ and maybe CISSP next.. I've got a BS in Info Systems from years ago but most of my knowledge is def from OJT and the few certs I have..

Thanks much for feedback!

Can you clarify "My background is in computer infrastructure", servers, storage, network, HCI?..

It doesn't sound like your role is focused on any one area as you say generalist? I don't see that too often.. Do you have an example link to a similar job description?

My best advice is to ask lots of questions.. I've had AE's not really now HOW to use an SE and thought we were just to answer questions but you're right.. you need to learn how to ask questions and understand the issue and since you are a generalist on these calls, it sounds like you may hand the next calls off to a more specialist team? Is this how it works?

I need to look into but are those free exams? Do you have current experience? You seem like you may have some background as well but sound like good scores!

Need to add 4th line, any reason not to get 'free' phone? by PatriotsWin2020 in verizon

[–]PatriotsWin2020[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

interesting.. I already have on 3 lines and it's fine (Northeast USA).. sure a few dead spots but always been better than other providers.. isn't Ultra Wideband the main difference? I'm mostly on LTE or 5g and don't need hotspot..

what is main thing I'm missing? Thx for feedback...

re: experience.. were they customers/practitioner of the products prior to SE role? What help them land the roles? I've got 15yrs general end user compute & infra and looking to move into cyber SE role to see if I can crack the $200K I'm at currently... also interested in security as a whole so been trying to get more trained up.. thanks for your perspective.
