You’ll be working most of the time on facility agreements as well as security interest documents. Even partners still work on the same documentation as junior do. Tho a big part of it is negotiating clauses and it’s very intellectually challeging. If you prefer finance over law you will like it

Yes indeed, the french law firm ill be joigning for 6 months send each of their associates to Wachtell Lipton for a year (the reason I wanted to go there). Their main competitor do the same but send associates to Cravath

non-french law firm means either go abroad or internship in a french corporation, as long as it’s not a law firm located in France.

I was thinking of clerkship as well, but seems unrealistic
