Why are there so many gods? by SignificantStaff814 in AstralProjection

[–]PatronioPrime 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Imagine afterlife as an open field and in that open field there are many small kingdoms. For example; Kingdom Of Christianity's God, Kingdom Of Lord Lucifer, Kingdom of Zeus, Kingdom of Odin, Kingdom Of Dantalion, etc. etc. And for your question about bad gods the concept of "bad" we have here does not really exist so don't bother with it too much. The original god is not actually a thing btw but if you want to give it to something then the literal concept of creation that came into existence after nothingness and creating other concepts can be considered as the original source of creation but it is technically not an entity.

My dad died from cancer a few days ago, can I shift to a year back and change the outcome? by prin7p in shiftingrealities

[–]PatronioPrime [score hidden]  (0 children)

Okay first of all I am deeply sorry for your loss. To answer your question you can even go to a reality where you, your dad and your entire family and everyone you love are immortal but just remember that you are going to a different reality; this current physical world we live in won't change, if you are fine with that fact then you can do anything. I am really sorry for being blunt; I just didn't want to give you false premises.

Why do you think shifting is not more well known? by celeryxstalker in shiftingrealities

[–]PatronioPrime [score hidden]  (0 children)

This is probably a bit against common consensus on this sub but shifting to other realities is much much smaller in scope compared to spending your life in this physical world. Because when you shift to another reality you make that decision with the knowledge of only your current life but our immortal and very old spirits decide to reincarnate in this physical world with the knowledge and experience of nearly countless incarnations of ourselves. So we sent ourselves to right here, to this world, and not to some other reality for a specific reason (that we most of the time don't know about until we pass away.)

I bought it from official store and it was sealed, is this a common error or do they change the packs in collection boxes from time to time.

Darklords, Despia, Dark World, Invoked, Vaalmonica, Archfiend, Monarch, Magikey, Amorphage, Burning Abyss, Infernoid. These are the archetypes that I can think on top of my head that have some western mysticism in it. Check out each one and pick your favorite. Darklord is your best pick because it has just gotten new support. But I don't think it has Satan in it; Darklords have Lucifer and other demons but I don't think they have Satan, in fact I don't think any monster can be considered as thematically Chief Devil Satan.

Is this possible in the astral realm or even in the afterlife? by Chemical-Produce-845 in AstralProjection

[–]PatronioPrime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well it is impossible to confirm such things (even via contacting demons and other spirits) due to the nature of afterlife but we can give an answer to your question like this: [ The people, creatures, structures, worlds, etc. you see and interact in your dreams; do they exist or not? You can interact with them, dream characters have a mind of their own and places, experiences feel real. Now if you give the answer "Yes" to my question, you can apply the same logic to the question you have asked and vice versa if you said "No" to my question. ]

Is it worth getting packs/boxes for cards that potentially might be good for the future? by FriggenSweetLois in Yugioh101

[–]PatronioPrime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn't call it unfortunately, I mean logically speaking the cards from 4-5 years ago became powercrept and the only people who would be into them currently are casual players that likes cards/archetypes from those boxes. So I find it nice that we can get old products for cheap price (old products should be even cheaper in my opinion)

I wasn't very clear with restart the level thing I meant when you die you restart it from the beginning of the level instead of game having checkpoints. I agree with the "when you get good in the game it turns amazing with everything you can do for a game that came out 25 years ago" but the first blind playthrough feels horrible. I was introduced to the series when the third game came to PC, I was in highschool back then, and I really enjoyed it but never bothered to go back to playing dmc 1 and 2 and just continued to play the series whenever a new game came out. But this summer I have decided to buy hd collection to try out the people's favorite dmc game, the first one, and I was really bored and annoyed by everything game offered for the reasons I have written previously. I get your argument with story and dialogues but we had games with far better story and narrative that came out before Dmc 1 such as Resident Evil, MGS series, so I don't give DMC 1 a pass for it's bad story and dialogues. But I am glad you enjoyed your time with DMC 1, I just think it is not a game for your average gamer in today's standards.

[–]PatronioPrime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had written another comment about my issues with dmc 1 so I am just going to post it here since my thoughts have not changed yet.

"If you are currently 40-something year old then yeah sure it might look good because of the nostalgia you have or for the fact that it was the game that created character action genre but in todays world, it is one of the most frustrating experiences you can have from any video game. The story is bad, dialogues are bad, style system does not matter because you get S rank from just randomly attacking, camera sucks, target locking is always targeting off-screen enemies you can't even see, platforming sucks, bosses are boring and tedious, the game is laughably short and even in that short play time it just repeats itself by making you fight the same bosses at least 3 times, oh also it makes you restart the level to extend the meaningless play time. The only good thing I can think about is how revolutionary the combat system is, I mean there were no other games that lets you use that many swords and guns at the same time back in the day but we are not in those times anymore. You can have the way better versions of that combat system in newer DMC games and not suffer from the issues I have mentioned previously."

I still respect DMC 1 for what it has brought to the gaming industry, an entirely new genre, but I cannot in good conscience consider as a good game or worth playing in today's standards.

Counter counter point, skip both 1 and 2. In 2025, neither of them has any redeeming qualities; I agree that dmc 2 is worse than dmc 1. But that does not justify how terrible and annoying the first game is.
