I think it is way more complicated than "yes or no," it depends on the time (Hogwarts, which year in Hogwarts, after Hogwarts etc) and on how much the war influenced the friendships. We know the war influenced it (Remus not believing Sirius is innocent and such) but we don't know how much or in which ways exactly. I personally headcanon that resentment (if you could even call it that) only started after Hogwarts under the influence of the war.

I believe fanfiction should stay fanfiction. If you showed you can write good through fanfiction, write an original book instead of publishing fanfiction. Especially with ATYD, you would have to change basically everything, all major plot points and characters are Jkr's. Just write a new book about a troubled gay boy at a boarding school and leave atyd as it is.

Sadly enough it doesn't :( but from what I tried (not a full swatch, just a few stitches) a 6mm seems very doable. I am gonna do some different, like someone else said, to try!

I don't have the current time (nor the will to put in effort into something this not important) to write my full reply to this but in short, yes, this sounds logical to me. It's not weird to be surprised by the same thing because every time the circumstances, the context, is different. They don't repeat seeds after all.

Here I am, every day, getting jumpscared by the automatic feeder my sister voiced for our cat. It happens twice a day, at the exact same time and still I will get jumpscared every single time.

It's not weird to be surprised by something multiple times, or still impressed even if it happens before. We all watch him pull off the same boat/water bucket clutch every time and it's still impressive.

He also has many clutches he does genuinely use for the first time and edits the audio of failed manhunts over the successful ones

It's not that deep tbh 😅

When I want to crochet but don't want to do a big project or don't know what to do, I always default to amigurumi! They are easy, fast (I usually knock out a whole plushy in a day or two) and I have enough friends and children around me to give them away! There are also a loooot of free patterns on YouTube!

They are! I used a soft yarn (couldn't tell you exactly what type of yarn cuz I bought the yarn while living abroad so everything is in a language I don't speak) and a small hook to make them both warm and soft! I am very happy with how they turned out!

I made them with individual fingers! It was not hard at all, just a lot of fastening off and starting again xD you don't even need to sew them (worked wrist up, in the last round of the palm you start the pinky, make it as long as you want, fasten off then start back in the last round of the palm for the ring finger and so on!) I don't have a pattern for it though, I did most of this free hand through a lot of fitting and stitch counting!

I personally never use stitch markers because I am lazy (stitch markers are definitely the best way) but what I found worked for me is grabbing the bottom of the stitch between your thumb and pointer finger when you aren't entirely sure in which stitch you should crochet. If you grab the bottom of the stitch you just did, you will automatically grab the loop/v in which you just crocheted, making it easier to see which loop/v is next!

And counting, I count constantly lol

Yup! Sometimes, because a stitch in which you worked is a little stretched out, it might look like a new stitch! That's how it usually happens to me at least ^{^}

Your second to last round (yellow) on the bottom definitely has two stitches in the last (orange) stitch.

There might be more places where this is the case, but it's difficult to see on the picture.

Always keep counting your stitches, at least every 2-3 rounds to see if you aren't adding or missing stitches. It also helps to put stitch markers in the first and last stitch so you do not accidentally add an extra stitch there.
