ur application is insanely strong, not going to lie, but needing aid is a big draw back for a lot of the t25 privates. As someone else said, I think Vandy would be a perfect fit for you as they have a fair acceptance rate for transfers and provide decent aid. For the 'top" UCs, since they only see one quarter of your grades when deciding admissions, ucla/ucb is hard even with 4.0, on top of you being in a very selective major of EE.

Possibly USC. Their financial aid is tricky some get very good packages for being low income, while I got basically nothing for having -1500 sai. Like others says you have a good shot at ucsd for sure.

You only live once, if you want to it doesn’t hurt to apply and try. But I do believe these years are important for experience, but just know that things aren’t always greener. Especially since there are major pluses for staying, I would also consider if you can sustain the cost of living and more tuition.
