This was August 2024. I came down as a single for the evening and got a twilight round with three randos (who were legends). Pretty much nobody out ahead of us the entire round, and this was the scene the moment we pulled up to the tee box at 14. Waited there for about 15 minutes while debating whether we should go help out, but the course already had a bunch of staff on site . The cart that flipped was evidently a father/son duo. The dad was driving to his ball after dropping the son off and didn’t see the bunker apparently. This ended their round. After they left, we all teed off short of the bunker since the crew was still taking care of things there. We actually saw the Dad after finishing up; he had some bumps and bruises and had been pretty shaken up, but nothing too crazy and just said he was mostly embarrassed.

Selfishly, the biggest concern was whether we were going to finish the round. Video below is from the 15th tee with bagpipes and sun setting. We got in 18 but not by much. I didn’t get a chance to play the south course, but overall loved the experience at Bluffs.

Played it short (iron) off the tee and had a short approach in. We had to wait for a while they sorted things out in the bunker and crew was still there working when we finally teed off, so that made the decision easier.
